Terms of Service

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. The service

KontactMe, operated by [Company legal name], lets you create a digital business card, share it and manage the leads that come through it. By creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep your password secure.
  • You are responsible for what you publish on your card and for having the rights to photos, logos and text.
  • Your card's address (kontactme.com/…) is assigned while available, as long as it isn't misleading and doesn't infringe anyone's trademark.
  • If you sign up yourself, you can build your card right away, but it stays a draft until we activate it. Activation is manual and confirmed once we receive your payment. We verify your email with a code.
  • A registered account that is never activated may be deleted, with its draft, after 60 days without activity.

3. The leads you receive

When someone leaves their details on your card, you are responsible for handling them lawfully: use them only to contact that person about what they asked for, don't sell them, honor their deletion requests and follow the rules on calls and texts. KontactMe stores them on your behalf.

4. Prohibited use

  • Impersonating another person or business.
  • Publishing illegal or misleading content, or content that infringes others' rights.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages to the leads you receive.
  • Trying to access accounts or data that aren't yours.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Plans and payments

Some features require a paid plan. Current prices are published on Pricing. If your plan ends or isn't renewed, you keep your data, but paid features stop working.

6. Cancellation

You can delete your account at any time from "My account" in your dashboard. This deletes your card and its leads.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. We do what is reasonable to keep it available and secure, but we don't guarantee it will run without interruption, and we aren't responsible for the sales or agreements you make with your leads.

8. Contact and governing law

Write to [privacy email]. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], United States.
